Londonderry Boys Lose to Central in Playoff Opener

The girls team plays a semifinal game on Thursday night.

The Londonderry High School boys basketball squad was knocked out of the playoffs by Manchester Central on Tuesday night.

The halftime score was close, with Londonderry down just 4 points. But Central poured it on in the second half and wound up winning 65-47, according to the Londonderry High School Athletics Twitter feed. With the loss, Londonderry finishes its season at 5-14.

The LHS girls' basketball team plays Bishop Guertin on Thursday night at 7:30 at Southern New Hampshire University in a semifinal matchup. The Londonderry High hockey team, meanwhile, faces Manchester Central tonight at 5:30 at JFK Ice Arena in Manchester.
