The <a href="http://www.londonderrydems.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Londonderry Democrats</a> will hold their Summer Social on Sunday, featuring numerous candidates for state and federal offices. Among those scheduled to attend are gubernatorial candidates Maggie Hassan and Jackie Cilley, 1st District Congressional candidate Carol Shea-Porter, Executive Council candidate Chris Pappas, Rockingham County Commissioner candidate Bob Davidson, state senate candidate Katherine Messner and several state representative candidates from Londonderry. The event runs from 1 to 4 p.m. at Mack's Apples, located at 230 Mammoth Road. It's an all you can eat affair, with hot dogs, hamburgers, salad and tons of dessert. There will be music by Chaz Proulx, and face painting and other fun activities for kids. A donation of $25 per person, or $40 per couple or family is being asked. Tickets may be purchased in advance or will be available at the door.
