Londonderry Fire Department Teams Up with Papa Gino's fore Fire Safety Open House

The event happens on Saturday, Oct. 18, from noon to 4 p.m.

October is National Fire Prevention Month, and Papa Gino’s is teaming up with the Londonderry Fire Department to help educate the community on fire safety and prevention. Celebrating its 20th year helping New England Fire Departments educate more than 2 million people, Papa Gino’s is supplying educational materials and free pizza at fire safety open houses throughout late September through October. The Londonderry Fire Department is holding a Fire Safety Open House at Londonderry Central Fire Station on Sat., Oct. 18, 2014 from noon - 4 pm. Stop by to get some fire safety tips and a free slice of Papa Gino’s pizza.

Some of the exciting visuals include firefighters demonstrating the way to escape a smoke-filled room, cooking safety tips, fire prevention tips and Sparky, the fire safety mascot, interacting with the children. Each year, fires claim hundreds of lives throughout New England. Fire Safety Open Houses are geared towards educating the community and preparing them for potential fires. Each year, these Open Houses help to better prepare families in the event of a fire and hopefully save lives.

For additional information about this open house, please contact Philip LeBlanc at 603-432-1124.
