Londonderry Man Fatally Stabbed In Manchester Homicide

Yan Leek, 35 of Londonderry, was fatally stabbed. Mark Delisle, 32, has been charged with one count of second-degree murder.

MANCHESTER, NH - A Londonderry man was fatally stabbed in Manchester Tuesday night, and the person who allegedly did the stabbing is in custody.

Manchester Fire, Police, and AMR ambulance responded to a report of an unresponsive man who had been stabbed on Tuesday at about 9:30 p.m. on Barry Ave between Spruce Street and Cedar Street.

Police cordoned off an area covering several city blocks while firefighters and medics treated the man and then transported him to the Elliot Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Officers used a K-9 to search the area, and they searched on foot for the potential suspect.

Wednesday morning, police had several parts of Barry Ave and other streets blocked with cruisers as detectives combed the area for evidence.

A large amount of blood and clothing could be seen in a parking lot near Barry Ave and Cedar Street.

Police processed the area for several hours, and eventually Trauma Services a crime scene clean-up company removed the blood and biohazards from the area.

The victim, Yan Leek, age 35, of Londonderry, was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Concord, where an autopsy was performed.

An autopsy was conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The Office determined that the cause of Mr. Leek’s death was a stab wound to the chest, and the manner of death was homicide.

Mark Delisle, age 32, has been charged with one count of second-degree murder for knowingly stabbing Mr. Leek. It is anticipated that Mr. Delisle will be arraigned at the 9th Circuit Court in Manchester tomorrow.

The investigation into Mr. Leek’s death is ongoing.
