Londonderry Town Election Results

Here are some of the decisions made by voters on March 8, 2016.

LONDONDERRY, NH - Voters went to the polls last night to vote on competitive Town Council and other races, as well as vote on budgets and other articles. Here’s a rundown of some of the results.

2,097 voters participated in the election, according to the town clerk.

In the Town Council race, John Farrell and Tom Dolan, were successful in capturing the two seats with 1,183 and 1,139 votes. Coming in a close third was Ted Combes with 1,020 votes.

In the open Supervisor of the Checklist race, Kristen Grages won with 59 write-in votes. Curtis Litterer received 29 votes to come in second. Robert Mahoney got 11 and Kathy Wagner earned 9 votes. There were 129 scattered write-in votes.

The Treasurer’s race was also won by Kathy Wagner via write-in, with 786 votes. Melanie Tamburello came in second with 213 votes. Chris Litterer received 48 votes and Robin Skudlarek earned 17. Another 48 votes were scattered.

In the school board race, Jenn Ganem easily bested John LaFerriere by a vote of 1,134 to 688.

Voters also approved of a $29.6 million town operating budget by a nearly three-to-one margin (1,425 to 575).

All other town warrant articles were also approved by solid margins.

Voters also approved of a nearly $70.8 million school operating budget and all of the warrant articles.
