Londonderry Voters Head to the Polls Tuesday

Town voters will eye competitive Town Council race; town and school budgets.

LONDONDERRY, NH - Voters go to the polls in Londonderry from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at the Londonderry High School Gym located at 295 Mammoth Road.

Voters have a competitive Town Council race with three candidates seeking two seats. There are also two people running for a single, three-year seat on the school board.

They will also decide whether or not to fund a $29,591,028 town operating budget or a default budget of $29,594,363. A number of capital budget and other items will also be voted on Tuesday.

Voters will also choose between a $70,778,003 school budget or a default budget of $70,932,073.

A school district charter change amendment proposing eliminating a quorum of the meeting requirement to be at least 4 percent of registered voters or 500 voters, whichever is less, at the first session.
