Lottery Players Take Home $45K in Tri-State Jackpot Drawing
A Londonderry resident was one of the winners at the $500K live drawing at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford last week.

GILFORD, NH – Before thousands of concert goers, New Hampshire Lottery players won $45,000 during the live Tri-State Jackpot drawing July 3, 2016, at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford.
With 15 finalists, the New Hampshire Lottery hosted the $500,000 live drawing just before country music star Keith Urban took the stage.

New Hampshire winners included:
- Frances Bergeron, Londonderry – $5,000
- Jim Blanco, Goffstown – $5,000
- Nathlie Gruvman, Manchester – $10,000
- Richard Lambert, Hooksett – $10,000
- Betty Love, Dover – $10,000
- Melissa McGowan, Manchester – $5,000
“With live music in the background and thousands of people watching, there was so much excitement and energy for this live $500,000 Tri-State Jackpot drawing,” said Charlie McIntyre, the executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery Commission, in a press statement. “It was incredibly thrilling for our finalists to be up on stage. Today, we congratulate our New Hampshire winners who took home a total of $45,000!”

As the top prize winner of the Tri-State Jackpot drawing, Jeff Ladd of Medway, Maine, won $250,000. While Laddwon $250,000, finalists won prizes ranging from $5,000 to $100,000. Connie Laroche of Biddeford, Maine, won $100,000 and Thomas McHugh of Alburgh, VT won $50,000.
Each finalist received VIP treatment, with special parking and dinner in the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion’s private loft.
Finalists were selected from preliminary drawings held earlier this year from non-winning $10 Tri-State Jackpot tickets. Winners were chosen in a three-round, knockout format, in which the field of finalists was narrowed from 15 to three for the final round. In choosing winners, McIntyre selected cards numbered from one to 15 from a drawing machine.
