Maine Motorcyclist Dies in I-293 Crash: NHSP
Woodward Shute of Waterboro was killed after striking a guardrail and being thrown from the motorcycle near I-93 South.

MANCHESTER, NH — A Maine man lost his life in a motorcycle crash yesterday afternoon, according to New Hampshire State Police. Woodward Shute, 50, of Waterboro, ME, was reportedly driving on the I-293 North ramp from I-93 South when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a guardrail, according to Lt. N.A. Noyes of the NHSP. State troopers were sent to the scene at around 5:40 p.m. on May 7, 2017, and found that after the crash, Shute was ejected from the motorcycle.
Shute was transported from the scene to Elliot Hospital by ambulance and later, succumbed to his injuries, Noyes stated.
