Man Arrested on 17 Counts of Child Sexual Abuse Images

DERRY, NH - A local man was arrested on numerous child pornography charges after investigators received a tip about images and videos of children allegedly being exchanged online.
Johnny R. Martin, 24, of Fairway Drive in Derry, was arrested on April 21, 2016, on 17 counts of felony possession of child sexual abuse images.

According to police, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a cyber-tip indicating that “pornographic images of young teens were being exchanged over the Internet,” according to police.

The exchanges were reportedly traced to specific IP addresses and involved still images as well as videos, according to police.
On Feb. 1, detectives executed a search warrant of Martin’s home while police reportedly seizing several electronic devices. Forensic examinations were conducted on the devices and police allegedly found four female victims between 13 and 16 during the search.
Martin turned himself in on a warrant and was released on personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on June 2.
