Man Gets 8 to 25 Years for 13 Counts of Possessing Child Pornography

Police found hundreds of images and video on David Curry's computer in 2015.

BRENTWOOD, NH - A Derry man was sentenced at 8.5 to 25 years for reportedly possessing child pornography.

David Curry, 58, of Elm Street in Derry, was found guilty of 13 counts of possession child sexual abuse images.

According to Rockingham County Attorney Patricia Conway, Derry Police received a report that a website called “Omegle” flagged certain files from an online user’s account. As a result of the investigation, Derry Police were able to trace the images back to Curry. He was arrested in March 2015.

"During this investigation, Detective Scott Tompkins was able to retrieve Curry’s computer and found hundreds of images and videos of CSAI," Conway noted in a statement.

A plea agreement recommended a sentence of 8.5 to 25 years at the New Hampshire State Prison, and an additional suspended sentence of eight to 16 years at the prison.
