Man In Serious Condition After Shooting In Downtown Manchester

Police were sent to the area of Bridge and Elm streets on Saturday after a person in a vehicle shot at another vehicle and injured a man.

MANCHESTER, NH — Police in Manchester are investigating a shooting downtown on Saturday.

Around 8:30 p.m., officers were sent to the area of Bridge and Elm streets for a report of an occupant of one vehicle shooting at another. Not long after the initial report, a man with a gunshot wound showed up at an area hospital, Lt. Matthew Barter of the Manchester Police Department said.

“The victim is currently being treated and is listed in serious condition,” he said. Bridge Street at Elm Street and the immediate area is currently closed due to the investigation.”

Detectives are actively investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 603-668-8711.
