Manchester Man Charged with 2nd DWI
The following are excerpts from the Londonderry police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Monday, July 29
- 8:08 a.m.: A caller on Hovey Road reported that she could hear a woman screaming for about 15 minutes. Police investigated, and determined that the sound appeared to have been large birds fighting.
- 2:06 p.m.: A caller on Coteville Road reported hearing shooting in the wooded area behind her home.
- 2:33 p.m.: A caller on Bockes Road reported a past-tense burglary. The door was kicked in and copper pipe was taken.
- 5:26 p.m.: Ryan M. Gorman, 35, of 65 Stonington Drive, Manchester was charged with driving while intoxicated (second offense). He was released on $2,500 bail and scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on Aug. 26.
- 6:02 p.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Rockingham Road.
