2019 Rhode Island Classic

The Good Fight is the Original Sub-Only Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament series. There are no points, no advantages and no referee decisions. This is the first time that the Good Fight came to Rhode Island. The 2019 Rhode Island Classic was held at the Johnston Indoor Rec Center, 1741 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919 on August 3rd.

Alyssa Marini and Amber Famisan are known as two of Team Woo's top Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitors and they were personally invited to compete at the 2019 Rhode Island Classic. Amber could not compete due to an injury but Alyssa was happy to represent Team Woo. Marini is also an established MMA fighter and cross trains for cage fights at New England Top Team in Salem, New Hampshire.

Alyssa Marini placed 1st as a Blue Belt in the Gi / Middle Weight division and she also placed 2nd as a Blue Belt in the NoGi / Middle Weight division.

Woo Kickboxing of Londonderry is an official Brazilian Top Team affiliate. Woo Kickboxing of Londonderry specialize in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing and Teen's MMA. Woo Kickboxing of Londonderry's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighters, locally known as "Team Woo" are led by Brazilian Top Team, Black Belt, Professor Joe Kvetkosky.
