Massachusetts Motorcyclist Medflighted Out Of New Hampshire After Interstate 93 Crash In Londonderry

LONDONDERRY, NH — A motorcyclist from the Bay State was medflighted out of the Granite State on Wednesday night after a crash on Interstate 93.

Around 7:45 p.m., troopers were sent to the southbound side of the highway near Exit 4 for a report of a crash. When they arrived, they found Jeffrey Landry, 61, of Haverhill, Massachusetts, thrown from his Harley-Davidson FLHX. State police said he was wearing a helmet.

The investigation is still ongoing, but a report stated Landry “veered off the road into the median,” rolling his motorcycle. He was medflighted to a Massachusetts hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Part of the highway was closed for about 35 minutes. Troopers were assisted by Londonderry firefighters.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the crash was asked to contact Trooper Abigail Wells at abigail.a.wells@dos.nh.gov.
