Musquash Gunfire Still an Issue
The Conservation Commission heard from residents on April 9.

It's the issue that won't go away.
For the past year, various town boards have fielded residents' complaints about shooting – specifically target practice – in the Musquash Conservation Area.
The Conservation Commission was the latest board to take up the issue, according to the Derry News. The newspaper said several residents spoke on the issue at the board's April 9 meeting, and board members decided to talk with the town's attorneys and then discuss how to proceed from there with the Town Council.

The Town Council held several meetings last year concerning complaints about gunfire. That discussion centered around the sound of gunfire believed to be coming from the Londonderry Fish and Game Club and the police firing range. But despite efforts to curb the noise, the problem remains.
