Neighbors Express Concerns About Local Junkyard

The Town Council is expected to make a final decision at its July meeting.

A local junkyard is facing opposition from neighbors as it seeks to have the town renew its license, according to the Union Leader.

Several neighbors came out to the Town Council's June 17 meeting to voice their concerns about Murray's Auto Recycling on Hall Road. Those concerns included the early operating hours and unsightly piles of junk cars that can be seen from the street. The council extended the junkyard's license until July but held off on a decision on the full renewal until its July 15 meeting.
