Nelson: Regina Birdsell has been a leader in Concord

Regina Birdsell, elected in 2014 to the State Senate, has been a leader in Concord on behalf of Derry, Hampstead, and Windham.

As Vice-Chairman of the Transportation Committee she has fought for the continued expansion of I-93 and worked with the Department of Transportation to ensure our gas taxes are spent accordingly.

As Chairman of the Public and Municipal Affairs committee she has worked on commonsense solutions to fight fraud in our elections and has worked to return power back to cities and towns.

Senator Birdsell also supported our State’s balanced budget that increased funding for the opioid crisis by 75% without increasing any taxes or fees and she supported the business tax cuts that have increased state revenue and created thousands of jobs since implementation.
