Manchester Police: Raymond Nolan admitted sexually assaulting a child, possibly 15 more, but cannot remember their identities.

MANCHESTER, NH — Police arrested a Manchester man on rape charges involving a child under the age of 13 on Monday.
Raymond Nolan, 28, of Manchester and charged his with aggravated felonious sexual assault and felonious sexual assault charges, both felonies.
In court paperwork, police said the investigation began in October 2019 in Manchester at a Maple Street address and involved several interviews with people that Nolan knew as well as experts.

Nolan was in drug and alcohol rehab in Bethlehem when the investigation began and police had a difficult time locating him for an interview. He eventually was located with the assistance of a relative. A supporting affidavit for the arrest warrant state Nolan told a witness that, "He has sexual desires towards young children."
According to the affidavit, in December 2019 DCYF cited a letter from a doctor who claimed Nolan disclosed, "he had identified 15 children who he had molested in the past." Nolan told the doctor he has been abusing children since he was 19 or 20, the report said.

In September, Manchester police were notified that Nolan was back in the city after he had been removed from a Exeter hotel for exposing himself to a front desk worker, a report said. He stated in an interview with a detective that he was high and drunk when it happened, police said.
The court paperwork outlined that Nolan was removed from the New Horizons shelter on Manchester Street for performing a sexual act on himself when he was caught.
In the interview with detectives, he said, "I have a problem." He also stated, "I really don't want to go to prison." He also revealed during the interview he had touched other children but does not remember who they were, the affidavit said.
Based on the information collected in interviews and statements, police secured a warrant against Nolan on the two charges and he was arrested on Monday.
Police said because he disclosed other incidents involving up to 15 other unidentified children, investigators would like anyone who knows Nolan or has had interaction with him to contact them.
