NH State of the State Speech Postponed

Impending storm forces delay to Thursday.

State officials have decided to postpone the State of the State address scheduled for Wednesday to Thursday, due to the impending snowstorm.

The annual State of the State speech, offered by Gov. Maggie Hassan, D-Exeter, as well as the joint session of the House and state Senate, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6.

Mario Piscatella, the communications and policy director for House Speaker Terie Norelli, said the change was being done due to “safety concerns.”
