Night Work Coming To I-93

NH DOT: The work will be held between Exit 4 and Exit 5 in Derry and Londonderry through Aug. 13.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced last week that traffic impacts for planned night work associated with the I-93 expansion will be held between Exits 4 and 5 in Londonderry, according to a press statement. Weather permitting, drainage installation will take place during nighttime hours from Sunday, Aug. 13, to Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017. Scheduled to be done between the hours of 9:00 pm and 5:30 am, the work will require the use of lane closures, and traffic on I-93 northbound between mile markers 12.6 and 14.0 will be reduced to one lane.

Message boards and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the traveling public. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Londonderry NH Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)

"Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs," Bill Boynton of the NH DOT.
