Night Work Scheduled For I-93

Beginning Sunday night, work will be performed through July 14, between Exits 4 and 5, in Londonderry.

LONDONDERRY, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will be performing work on I-93 in Londonderry as part of the expansion plan between Exits 4 and 5. According to a press statement, weather permitting, drainage work will take place during nighttime hours from Sunday, July 9, 2017, to Friday, July 14. The work is scheduled to be done between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.

The work will require the use of lane closures, and traffic on I-93 northbound between mile markers 12.4 and 14.0 will be reduced to one lane, according to officials. Message boards and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the traveling public.

Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs. This work is part of the $35 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project between Exit 4 in Derry and Exit 5 in Londonderry.
