Night Work, Traffic Shift Expected On I-93
NH DOT: Steel setting will continue on the Route 102 bridge in Londonderry. Expect pattern shifts beginning Jan. 15, 2018.

LONDONDERRY, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announced this week that night work will begin Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, on I-93 at Exit 4 in Londonderry, according to a press statement. This work will consist of placing structural steel for the new NH Route 102 bridge over I-93. he work is scheduled to be done between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. and will require the use of lane closures and detours.
Northbound I-93 traffic will be diverted nightly to the Exit 4 off ramp and back onto I-93. Message boards, uniformed officers, traffic control devices, and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the traveling public. This work is expected to take two weeks to complete. Additional nights may be required due to weather conditions.
This work is part of the final I-93 northbound and southbound I-93 construction in the Exit 4 area (Derry/Londonderry), as well as on and off ramp construction, the Route 102 reconstruction (including the reconstruction of the NH Route 102 Bridge over I-93), and Pillsbury Road/Ash Street (including the Pillsbury Road/Ash Street Bridge over I-93).

RS Audley, Inc. of Bow is the general contractor for the $62.2 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2020.
