James Stuart Gilmore III, 68th Governor of Virginia and NRA Board Member will visit Londonderry Fish and Game Club April 30, 2015: 12:30 PM
Governor Gilmore is a United States Army veteran serving in the Military Intelligence Corps working for three years in the early 1970s, in the 650th Military Intelligence Group. He served as a U.S. Army Counterintelligence Agent.A Graduate of the University of Virginia Law School Governor Gilmore worked in private practice for a decade and was elected Commonwealth’s Attorney of his native Henrico County in 1987 and 1991, and then later as Virginia’s Attorney General. Gilmore resigned in 1997 to run for Governor, becoming Virginia’s 68th governor. Jim Gilmore is on the Board of Directors for the National Rifle Association. ATTENDANCE AT THIS EVENT IS FREE.
