A large number of vacancies on town boards has some officials concerned, <a href="http://www.unionleader.com/article/20120823/NEWS06/708249906" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to the Union Leader</a>. Budget Committee member Martin Strugis resigned last week, leaving the town with several vacancies on important town boards. According to an email from the town, the following vacancies exist: <ul> <li>Budget Committee: 1 position, elected position, term to expire 3/12/13</li> <li>Conservation Commission: 1 position, 3 year term to expire 12/15</li> <li>Heritage Commission: 1 alternate position, 1 year term to expire 12/13</li> <li>Solid Waste &amp; Environment: 2 alternate positions, 1 year terms</li> </ul> Anyone interested in filling one of those positions can contact Margo LaPietro, executive assistant to the town manager and Town Council, at (603) 432-1100, ext. 120 or by email at mlapietro@londonderrynh.org.
