Sue A. Finney, 78, of Chester, NH died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Colonial Poplin Nursing Home, Fremont, NH surrounded by her loving family.She was born on February 15, 1935 in Wakefield, MA a daughter of the late Frank and Hilma (Alquist) Rowell. She was a resident of Chester for 50 years. She is survived by her two beloved children, Michael W. Finney and his wife Jennifer of Chester and Suzanne Cowdrey and her husband Frederick of Lempster, NH, a grandson, Daniel Winsor as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Norman W. Finney, two sons, Scott Finney and Peter Finney her sister, Barbara Pierce and brother, Warren Rowell. She was a warm, funny, giving woman who loved her many animals, camping, gardening and cooking. There are no calling hours. Following cremation, memorial services will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to NH Farm Museum, Rt 125 White Mountain Hwy., Milton NH 03851.
