Park Stabbing Suspect Caught
Anthony Sierra is in court this morning on a first-degree assault warrant from an incident last month.

MANCHESTER, NH – A local man is scheduled to be in court this morning after allegedly stabbing another man in Veteran’s Park in the Queen City on Nov. 25, 2015, according to police.
Anthony Sierra, 25, of Manchester, is being charged with first-degree assault, a felony.

According to police, Sierra allegedly “stabbed the victim several times while they engaged in a physical altercation” in the park at just after 4 p.m.
The victim, a man in his 30s, “sustained serious injuries to his head and torso and was hospitalized as a result of the fight,” according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.

Sierra was charged earlier this year with assault, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader, after allegedly coming up behind his girlfriend, putting his arm around her neck, picking her up, and dropping her on the ground. She landed on her left shoulder. He was also accused of kicking her while she was on the ground, according to the report.
