'Police Activity' Near Stonehenge Road

Londonderry School Superintendent: "At no time were any of our schools or children in danger."

LONDONDERRY, NH - Online alerts are reporting police activity near Stonehenge Road with police outside with a suspect. The road was closed by has re-opened and school buses have been re-routed from the area. The first reports began coming in around 4 p.m. on Jan. 29, 2016.

Londonderry Superintendent of Schools, Nate Greenburg, stated that “at no time were any of our schools or children in danger.” The school system has issued instructions to North School and Matthew Thornton School, due to their proximity relative to the situation “only as an extra ultra-safe precaution,” as they await dismissal.
