Man Arrested After Allegedly Assaulting Girlfriend on I-93
The man was involved in a standoff with police in Danville after an incident that began in Londonderry.

UPDATE, 8:30 P.M.: State police said Eric Joseph LaBarge surrendered to members of the New Hampshire SWAT Unit without incident around 6:44 p.m. Friday.
State troopers had responded to 19 Wesley Road in Danville around 12:21 p.m. Friday to conduct a follow up investigation for a domestic assault that occurred earlier on Interstate 93 in Londonderry, according to a state police press release.
Troopers observed a 2003 Saab at the address, which was reported to have been driven by the suspect. Several attempts were made to call LaBarge on his cell phone, without success. A SWAT Unit responded and LaBarge was found in a residence at 13 Christian St.

After surrending himself to police, LaBarge was transported to the Rockingham County Jail, where he is currently being held.

Police are involved with a standoff with a man who allegedly assaulted his girlfriend while driving on Interstate 93 in Londonderry earlier today, according to WMUR.
The television station reports that police in Danville are currently in a standoff with Eric LaBarge, 35. He allegedly hit his girlfriend while on I-93, causing their car to swerve. At that point he pulled over in the breakdown lane and continued to beat her, police said. As of 6:15, LaBarge was still inside a neighbors home after fleeing the scene.
