Police: Teen Shot Girl on West Street

A local teen was arrested yesterday after allegedly shooting a girl in an apartment on West Street, according to a police report.

Damian Walsh, 18, of Manchester, was arrested on March 21, 2015, and charged with reckless conduct.

According to police, officers were sent to West Street for a report of a shooting.

When they arrived at the apartment, they found a girl who had been shot and suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. She was later transported to Catholic Medical Center where she remains in serious condition.

Officers conducted an investigation and learned that Walsh was a suspect. Throughout the morning, they were worked the case and were able to find Walsh, who was arrested.
