Police Trying to Find Derek Sedita
Investigators allege that he is a person of interest in a case involving a man who was stabbed in the neck, shot at last night.

Manchester Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Derek Sedita, 32, after an altercation on Massabesic Street in the Queen City last night.

According to police, officers and detectives were called to the area at around 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 8, 2015, for a report of “a bloodied man was weaving in and out of traffic pleading for a passerby to stop and assist him.”

The man, who is from Auburn, sustained a neck wound during an altercation and checked himself in to the Elliot Hospital ER for treatment. He was immediately taken to the operating room.
Investigators spoke to the victim and he alleged that he was shot at during the incident involving a male subject who resides on Massabesic Street.

“He did not sustain a gunshot wound and detectives are processing the scene to determine if in fact a gun was fired during the altercation,” according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department. “The victim appears to know the suspect, so this does not appear to be a random attack.”
Manchester Police detectives would like to locate and speak with Derek Sedita, 32, who is a “person of interest” in the case. He is described as 5-feet, 7-inches tall, approximately 135 to 150 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes. If you know his whereabouts please contact the Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711.
