POLL: 'The Tea Party Way' Vs. 'The NH Way'

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Maggie Hassan went out of her way Tuesday to paint Ovide Lamontagne as a Tea Party Republican who is out of touch with New Hampshire values.

After winning Tuesday's Democratic gubernatorial primary, Maggie Hassan went out of her way to try to link Republican primary winner Ovide Lamontagne with the Tea Party and House Speaker Bill O'Brien.

On six occasions, she referenced the Tea Party, and on many of them attempted to contrast what she said she stands for, "The New Hampshire Way," with what Lamontagne stands for, which she called "The Tea Party Way." It was a clear attempt to paint Lamontagne as being out of touch with New Hampshire voters.

Do you think it was fair of Hassan to paint Lamontagne as a Tea Party Republican who is out of touch with New Hampshire values? And more importantly, do you think her tactic will sway voters? Vote in our poll below, and leave a comment with your thoughts.
