POLL: Will DNC Give Obama A Bump?
Democrats are hoping the convention will translate into higher poll numbers.
Barack Obama capped off the week-long Democratic National Convention on Thursday night with a rousing speech to the assembled delegates.
The president, Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden then followed up the convention with a swing through New Hampshire, before moving on to Iowa.
Obama and the rest of the Democratic Party are counting on the convention to give him a bump in the polls as he heads into the final two months of the campaign.
