Public Service of New Hampshire will be updating its Londonderry transmission lines beginning this week, according to a letter posted on the town website.
The letter says the project is necessary to keep up with the growing need for electricity throughout new Hampshire. Construction is scheduled for July to December 2013, but prior to the work getting started, mowing, trimming and tree cutting will be done to allow access to work sites.
The construction will be performed by JCR Construction and will involve increasing the distance from the ground to the conductors to maintain required line clearances.
