A Londonderry resident called police on Wednesday morning to report that he had seen a rabid fox in his backyard. According to the Londonderry police log, a resident of Alan Circle called police at 4:54 a.m. and said he believed there was a rabid fox in his backyard. Alan Circle is located off West Road, south of the Musquash Conservation Area. Police responded to the scene, but were unable to locate the animal because it had run into the woods.

Police received the call early Wednesday morning.
