LONDONDERRY, NH — Londonderry Police are asking for the public’s help finding suspects in a robbery reported on Saturday at the Market Basket in Londonderry. At just before 1 p.m. on May 27, 2017, police were sent to the store after two white women allegedly robbed another woman in the parking lot. The women fled the area in a silver Ford, according to Lt. Christopher Olson of the Londonderry Police Department.
“The driver asked the victim for a cigarette and exited the vehicle,” Olson stated. “She then forcefully took the victim’s purse and got back into the car. The victim attempted to retrieve her purse and was dragged for several feet by the suspects.”
The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries, Olson noted. The victim described the driver-robber as having light brown hair, wearing a scoop neck T-shirt, and a visible tattoo on her chest.
