School Activities Cancelled Due to Storm

Londonderry school officials announced this morning that all activities scheduled in school buildings Friday and Saturday are cancelled due to the impending winter storm.

No decision has been made yet as to whether to cancel classes on Friday, although it appears likely at this point that there will be no school, School Business Administrator Peter Curro said. He said the final decision will be made around 4 a.m. on Friday. The cancellation announcement made this morning covers only outside of class activities like band and athletic events.

Curro said a decision on whether to recess Friday night's School Deliberative Session won't be made until Friday morning. The school website says a decision will be made no later than noon on Friday, but Curro said he expects to have a decision around 9 a.m.

If the deliberative session does get postponed, he said it would be held on Monday night instead.
