Sen. Carson to be Honored Tonight
She's one of three state lawmakers being recognized as part of the Vesta Roy Excellence in Public Service Series.

Sen. Sharon Carson (R-Londonderry) is one of three New Hampshire legislators who will be honored at a dinner tonight in Concord.
Carson, Sen. Jeannie Forrester (R-Meredith) and Sen. Nancy Stiles (R-Hampton) will all be honored as part of the Vesta Roy Excellence in Public Service Series, scheduled for tonight at 6 at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord. Tickets are $35, with appetizers and a cash bar.
Vesta Roy is a political leadership training program for New Hampshire Republican women with an interest in politics and public service.

Each year, the Vesta Roy series awards up to 12 fellowships to women who pledge to seek a policy-making position in government or in the Republican Party within five years. Fellows are selected from a statewide field of applicants who have demonstrated leadership skills in their chosen fields of work or in service to their community. All must display a commitment to achieving full participation of women in politics and government and must be registered Republicans.
