Service Credit Union Opens Derry Branch

Service Credit Union celebrated the opening of its 40^th branch worldwide, 22^nd  in New Hampshire and 9^th in-store branch on September 12^th.

The new full-service banking institution with a deposit-taking ATM is located on 11 Ashleigh Drive inside the Walmart Supercenter located in Derry.

Service Credit Union has a long history in New Hampshire. In 1957, a group of eight men signed an agreement to establish Portsmouth Air Force Base Federal Credit Union, which eventually became Service Credit Union. The credit union has grown tremendously through the years.

Service Credit Union is proud to be in the town of Derry which also carries its own rich history. The fourth largest community in the state, it is the birthplace of Alan Shepard, the first U.S. astronaut in space. Derry was also, for a time, the home of the poet Robert Frost and his family.

The full-service branch offers complete seven-day banking services, mortgages, consumer loans, and a full-service ATM. The hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
