Shea-Porter Nominates 15 NH Students to U.S. Service Academies
Rep. says, "These students are among our state's best and brightest. I am very proud to nominate these young men and women."

U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter, D-NH, has nominated 15 New Hampshire students for admission to the United States Service Academies.
The Service Academies— the United States Air Force Academy, the United States Merchant Marine Academy, the United States Military Academy, and the United States Naval Academy —are among the most selective educational institutions in the United States. To be accepted at an academy, students must first apply to be nominated by their U.S. Representative or Senator. The process includes a full written application and an interview with the Nominations Board, which is composed of Academy alumni.
“These students are among our state’s best and brightest,” Shea-Porter said. “I am very proud to nominate these young men and women, and I thank them for their willingness to serve our nation.”
