Snow in the Forecast for Thanksgiving Week?

Tuesday rain turns to snow showers with the latest forecast. Wednesday is predicted to be a rainy one, making for a tough travel day.

For many, it's a short work week, but a busy one full of shopping, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie.

It's also a heavy travel week, so here is quick look at the weather forecast to help everyone through the official start of the holiday season.

MONDAY: Sunny, with a high around 30.

TUESDAY: A 30 percent chance of snow after 5 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42.

WEDNESDAY: The busiest travel day of the year is going to be hampered by periods of heavy rain which some models say could potentially turn to snow in parts north and west. The temperature is expected to hit close to 55 degrees in the daytime hours, but then drop dramatically to the 20s.

THURSDAY: It will be a nice, but brisk Thanksgiving Day, as Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny with highs in the mid-30s.

FRIDAY: A sunny day is on tap for Black Friday shopping with temperatures expected to be in the low 30s.
