Task Force Nets 3 Fugitives

Two were found in New Hampshire, one caught in Florida.

Due to promotion of the Fugitive of the Week posts on Patch and other media websites, the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force was able to capture three fugitives last week.

According to a press statement, Leslee Drew-Kennett, a Concord woman wanted for not showing up to a drug sales charge arraignment, surrendered to local police on Oct. 20. She was thought to possibly be in Vermont, according to Jamie Berry, a Deputy U.S. Marshal.

Jerry Vito Marino, who was wanted for failing to appear on a federal sentencing on a fraud charge, was thought to be either in Florida or Michigan. On Oct. 23, a few days after he was featured as a Fugitive of the Week, he turned himself in to Tampa police. According to Berry, Marino had assumed a new identity but eventually realized that even at 70, he had nowhere to hide.
