Teen Arrested on Drug Charges at LHS

The following are excerpts from the Londonderry police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, May 3

  • 6:23 a.m.: Multiple callers reported a black backpack sitting on top of a guard rail on Pillsbury Road. the bag was vetted and belongs to a subject out of Nashua. It was held by police for safe keeping.
  • 10:32 a.m.: Corey Masson, 17, of 59 Auburn Road, Londonderry was arrested at Londonderry High School and charged with possession of controlled/narcotic drugs. Bail was set at $1,000 personal recognizance and he is scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on May 28. Masson had been arrested on alcohol charges in Londonderry a week earlier, on April 27.
  • 1:17 p.m.: A caller reported that panhandlers were setting up camp in the metal structure behind Market Basket on Garden Lane.
  • 2:19 p.m.: Police received a report of a minor motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of the Londonderry Athletic Fields Association complex on Nelson Road.
  • 2:52 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a heroin overdose on Mammoth Road.
  • 2:54 p.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident with no injury on Route 102.
  • 3:38 p.m.: Two callers reported a large turtle in the roadway, causing a traffic problem.
  • 3:44 p.m.: Police assisted the Londonderry Fire Department at the scene of a brush fire on Mammoth Road.
  • 8:34 p.m.: Carl Stephen Hanson, 37, of 9 Young Hill Road, Sunapee, was arrested on a bench warrant out of Newport District Court for four counts of probation/parole violations. Bail was set at $1,000 personal recognizance, which he was unable to post. He was scheduled to appear in Newport District Court on May 6.
  • 11:03 p.m.: Kimberly Marie Copello, 23, of 6 Partridge Lane, Londonderry was charged with simple assault and criminal trespass. Bail was set at $1,000, which she was unable to post. She was scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on May 6.

Saturday, May 4

  • 1:18 a.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Capitol Hill Drive.
  • 6:30 a.m.: A caller on Sparhawk Drive reported that someone hit the stop sign and street sign sometime overnight and knocked it down.
  • 6:45 a.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Nashua Road.
  • 11:07 a.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Garden Lane.
  • 11:12 a.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Mammoth Road.
  • 5:49 p.m.: Susan M. Goodrich, 34, of 54B West Broadway, Derry was charged with suspended registration, driver's license prohibitions and driving after revocation or suspension. She was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on May 28.
  • 11:24 p.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Rockingham Road.

Sunday, May 5

  • 8:26 p.m.: Jean M. Kelley, 51, of 7A Londonderry Road, Londonderry was charged with simple assault. She was released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail and scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on May 28.
  • 11:20 p.m.: Phillip Aaron Tausky, 17, of 9 Elijah Hill Road, Londonderry was charged with three counts of simple assault. He was released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail and scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on May 28.
