Teen Charged with Shoplifting
The following are excerpts from the Londonderry police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Wednesday, June 26
- 2:04 p.m.: An employee at the Shell Food Mart on Nashua Road reported a theft of ice cream and nuts.
- 9:08 p.m.: A caller on Kitt Lane reported that his iPod was taken from inside his vehicle.
Thursday, June 27
- 12:24 a.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Route 102 at Interstate 93.
- 2:57 a.m.: Robert J. Lowry, 47, of 25 Bear Run Drive, Litchfield was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or liquor after driving his car into the woods on Wiley Hill Road at West Road. Bail was set at personal recognizance and he is scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on July 15.
- 6:18 a.m.: Chelsea Bennett, 19, and Michael Chenard, 34, of 25 Glenwood N, Apt. #12, Hampstead were both arrested on warrants and charged with one count of theft/shoplifting. Bennett was held on $2,000 bail, and Chenard was released on $500 personal recognizance bail. No information was available on their scheduled court dates.
- 7:48 p.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Adams Road.
- 9:57 p.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Hall Road.
- 10:19 p.m.: Wesley Taylor, 24, of 57 Tennyson Drive, Manchester was arrested on a warrant and charged with unauthorized use of propelled vehicle/rental property. He was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on July 15.
