Town Manager Search Down to Four Finalists
Town officials hope to have a new leader in place by July 1.

The Town Council has narrowed the town manager candidates to four finalists, according to the Derry News.
Council Chairman John Farrell announced the news at Monday's council meeting. The council was expected to set up an interview schedule for the remaining candidates during a closed-door session following Monday's meeting.
Fifty-four people applied for the open town manager's position by the April 1 deadline. The position was re-advertised earlier this year after the favored candidate for the job accepted another position.

Police Chief William Hart has been serving as interim town manager since former Town Manager David Caron resigned last summer. Town officials have said their goal is to have a new town manager in place by July 1.
