Tucker Receives 100% on Taxpayer Scorecard

Potential 1st Congressional District candidate has perfect rating from AFP-New Hampshire as taxpayer advocate.

State Rep. Pam Tucker, R-Greenland, issued a statement last week in response to receiving a 100 percent rating from the New Hampshire chapter of taxpayer advocacy group Americans for Prosperity.

“New Hampshire moves forward when Concord treats the state budget like a family budget, making it balance by restraining spending and cutting waste,” she said. “That is the principle I’ve used when in Concord, and it works. We have more work to do, but New Hampshire is in a strong fiscal position because we’ve worked to rein in spending growth. It’s a lesson sorely needed in Washington, D.C.”

Tucker, a resident of New Hampshire’s First Congressional District, recently formed a federal Exploratory Committee.

“It is an honor to receive a 100 percent rating from an organization truly committed to fiscal responsibility and personal freedom,” she said. “ We must all work together to hold politicians accountable to the principles that we know work: constitutionally limited government, a low tax burden and personal freedom.’
