A 40-year-old man from Massachusetts was a passenger in the vehicle and he reportedly was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown out the front windshield. He suffered serious by non-life threatening injuries while the driver – who was wearing a seatbelt – received minor injuries. Both were transported to Elliot Hospital by Manchester Fire and Rescue teams.
Part of the Interstate was closed for about 90 minutes while the scene was cleared and processed.
During that time, Buco drove by and allegedly began taking cellphone pictures of the burned vehicle. A trooper pulled him over for a hands-free violation and found he had the active warrant. Buco was then arrested.
