On Aug. 26, the Fugitive Task Force arrested Travis Crawford, 25 of Derry, who was wanted by the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office for a probation violation, stemming from an original conviction and sentence for second-degree assault.
According to a statement, “Crawford had fled from probation officers and local law enforcement on foot during two recent encounters. The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force received several tips via its anonymous text/web tip service. This information led investigators to an address on Bridge Street Extension in Manchester. Members of the Fugitive Task Force, along with the assistance of the Manchester Police Department went to the suspected residence of Crawford. The occupants of the residence refused to open the door and entry was forced. Crawford was quickly located and apprehended without incident.”
