Wedding Photographer Convicted of Deceiving Customers Avoids Jail Time

Andrea Runkel agreed to provide photos to some of her customers.

A Londonderry woman charged with failing to provide customers with wedding photos they paid for avoided jail time this week after she agreed to provide photos to some customers, according to The Eagle-Tribune.

The newspaper reported that Andrea Runkel, owner of Luminescence Photography, was in court on Tuesday after the attorney general's office asked the court to have Runkel serve her six month suspended jail sentence because she had not complied with a judge's March 2012 order that she pay $9,200 in restitution to two dozen customers. But the attorney general dropped its request because Runkel had given photos to some customers.
