Weather
The National Weather Service is calling for a cold but pretty clear weekend in New Hampshire this weekend.

After a bit of snow on Friday morning, expect chilly temperatures, with highs in the single digits overnight. On Saturday, clear and cold, with temps around 20 (about 25 on the Seacoast and southern part of the state). Overnight lows will drop down to the single digits again. Expect similar weather on Sunday and Monday.

- Winter hills and skies will be the paint and sip themes on Friday and Saturday at The Canvas Roadshow, 176 South River Road in Bedford.
- The Winter Reading Program begins at the Concord Public Library, 45 Green St. in Concord, on Saturday and Sunday.
- The Rockingham Hunting and Fishing Expo hits Rockingham Park, 1 Rockingham Park Blvd. in Salem, this weekend.
Saturday
- Children’s recording artist Laurie Berkner will perform at 11 a.m. at the Capitol Center for the Arts, 44 South Main St. in Concord. Tickets are $35 to $50; $100 for a family four pack.
- A wine and cheese social will be held at the WineNot Boutique, 170 Main St. in Nashua, beginning at 1 p.m. The event is free.
- The New Hampshire Master Chorale presents John Ratledge’s, “ The Divine Siren,” at 7 p.m. at the Universalist Unitarian Church, 274 Pleasant St. in Concord. Tickets are $20 to $30.
- Baza, a blues duo from Nashua, perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Simple Gifts Coffee House, 58 Lowell St. in Nashua, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashua. Tickets are $10.

Don Severance plays the Blue Mermaid Island Grill; the PJ Donahue Trio performs at Rudi’s Portsmouth; Winterpills play the Press Room; The Pop Disaster rock the Thirsty Moose Taphouse; and the Backyard Blues Band hit the Dolphin Striker.
Sunday
- The New Hampshire Rebellion 2015 anti-corruption walk begins in Dixville Notch on Jan. 11, and runs through the month. Click here for the details.
- More than 80 antiques dealers will be at the Hampshire Hills Athletic Club, 50 Emerson Road in Milford at 8:30 a.m. showing of their items. Tickets are $5.
- Jim Dozet offers a jazz brunch at Rudi’s Portsmouth, 20 High St. in Portsmouth.
- The Green Lion Crew play Reggae at the Red Door, 107 State St. in Portsmouth.
