Londonderry is considering asking voters to approve a Tax Increment Financing district to attract businesses to Pettengill Road, <a href="http://www.unionleader.com/article/20130802/NEWS06/130809786&amp;template=mobileart" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to the Union Leader</a>. The Town Council would have to hold several public meetings to refine the TIF, and then it would have to be approved by voters at Town Meeting next March. A TIF is a special district encompassing a specific area of the town that is formed to provide specific funding for the targeted area to fund infrastructure improvements.
